Anthropic’s CEO writes that he’s worried about swarms taking over the internet. Then he’s smiling at Salesforce’s annual Dreamforce, the razzle-dazzle already pointed at a B2B CRM. Gary Marcus passed along the obvious arithmetic, via an X account and Charlie Warzel: if you truly bought a 10 percent chance of human extinction in three years, you would not spend the week selling and integrating the thing into somebody else’s SaaS customer file.

Call the essay safety if you need a brand. The calendar calls it a snooze-button. Worry is the humblebrag; the smile is the product. Swarms on Monday, pipeline on Thursday, plow-ahead either way. The panic is crumbs. The integration is the point.
