Write comic observation as a composed public document—letter, memo, diary, or weekend confession—whose speaker may be the fool: keep the voice polite, managerial, period-earnest, or parentally grand; let failed assumptions, recycled facts, movie-plots, grocery and zoo logistics land in understatement; delay the verdict with lists, retractable asides, quoted speech, and a gloss that swaps metaphor for the errand, sandwich, or exhibit; let last nouns, leftover bags, payment methods, bathrooms, and substitute species carry the punch; never convert manners into attack or satire.
