This column’s new selection is not a policy product but a person. It treats Ossoff’s first-name aside as an obvious wink, then spends the page making Harp’s résumé the exhibit: cancer, wheelchair, experimental-drug gratitude, RNC speech, wilderness-years loyalty, devout mission. The smear is not argued as “false in a court”; it is made to look indecent against that inventory. A prior engine taught scare as timed demand. Here the engine is different: the midterm/AI machinery is absent. What is amplified instead is character contrast—accidental senator, 2028 loft, cookie-cutter rally lines—against a “very private” aide who does not sit for interviews. Media is selected as pack behavior (CNN “jackals,” Swalwell spy scandal as the story they would rather skip). Family is used only as a refuter: the estranged brother’s on-air line that rules out romance while still hating Trump. Turncoat aides are selected for timeline mismatch (Matthews left before Harp arrived), not for a long bios stack. The close is a pair of stings the page already owns: Trump’s “Pee Wee Herman” label plus Axelrod’s “gratuitous” verdict, then the sexism question flipped onto Ossoff’s own staff attitude. Strong women (Wiles, Melania, Leavitt) are listed as workplace counter-evidence, not as an advisory-capture roster. Do not import amplification relays, bills, or conversion-to-regulation. If the new page is a personnel smear-and-backfire, stay inside biography, innuendo, pack media, invalid witnesses, and the speaker’s image collapsing.
